Plant Professionals Serving as Grand Sponsor
of Coal Users’ Group Meeting
March 5, 2009 — Montgomery, IL— Plant Professionals,

Inc., is the Grand Sponsor of this year’s
PRB Coal Users’ Group Meeting being held in conjunction with
the Electric Power Show from
May 11 to 14, 2009.
Benetech, Inc. is a Silver Sponsor of the Electric Power Conference
to be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont,
Illinois. The conference takes place May 12 to 14, 2009.
Chris Blazek, Vice President of Marketing for Benetech, will
be presenting during the Material Handling Track of the Electric
Power conference. He will speak on Ameren Hutsonville’s Coal
Yard Improvements and Innovative Reclaim System. Co-Authors and
presenters are Mark Collett, Vice President of the Plant Professionals
Division and Greg Muncsh, Superintendent of Production for Ameren
Energy-Hutsonville Station. This session takes place May 14th from
10:00AM to 12:00PM in Room 12.
Mark Collett will be presenting immediately before the Hutsonville
presentation on Montana Limestone’s Unit Train Loadout System
for Emission Control Materials. This session takes place on May
14th from 8:00AM to 9:30AM in Room 12. Discussion for both Material
Handling sessions is centered on new technologies and project experience
with material –handling systems in new power plants and plant
upgrades.
Mr. Collett will be holding two pre-conference sessions on May
11th. The first session is on PRB Electrical Best Practices. Bill
Rezek, Lead Electrical Engineer from Shaw Power will be co-presenting.
The second is an OSHA NEP Combustible Dust Compliance Workshop
that will provide critical understanding of OSHA’s expectations.
The first session runs from 8:00AM -12:00PM and the second is from
1:00AM to 5:00PM, both in Room 11.
Mr. Collett and Mr. Blazek will also be speaking at the PRB Coal
Users Group Meeting breakouts. They will be co-presenting with
Rob Holliday from Luminant on the Combustible Dust NEP and EPA’s
Subpart Y. Guidelines will be provided to help ensure plants are
building methods of compliance for both regulations. This session
is on May 12th from 10:00Am to 11:30AM in Room 1-3.
Mr. Collett will co-present with Jeff Whitt, PE, from Ready Technologies
on Coal Blending and Quality Control. They are part of a subcommittee
that has been commissioned within the PRB Coal Users’ Group
to promote the most accurate technologies in coal quality analysis
and blending methods at the power station coal yard. This session
is from 11:00AM-12:00PM in Room 1 on May 13th.
Ron Westfall, TDM Product Manager for Benetech, will participate
in the PRB Coal User’ Group Coal Handling Break-Out. He will
be part of an Open Panel Discussion on Conveyor Issues. Joining
him on the panel will be Randy Rahm, President, CoalTech Consultants,
Inc., James Wiseman, Consultant, and Reese Kidman, P.E., Millcreek
Engineering. This discussion takes place on May 13th from 9:00AM
to 10:00PM in Room 1.
